A STUDIO OF MY OWN

I have so many things I want to write about, I don’t know where to start. Today is as goodas anywhere, at least to begin. Our house is a “listed” house, which means we can’t do much to it without planning permission. We wanted a little studio in the garden so I will have a “room of my own” to paint in. This week, the permission came through, so by the end of next week I might actually get to put my brushes and paints in a permanent place. It needs a sink, though, for cleaning brushes and hands, so we braved the cold (40 F) to go to B&Q, Guildford’s answer to Home Depot.

And there it was, the perfect solution, a sink with storage underneath and not too expensive. I am itching to get my hands dry from white spirit and my nails colored with paint underneath.
